Interesting NSX > Ferrari conversion

Probably something I wouldn't do if I had an NSX, but it's way cheaper than buying a hard to find and get F50.

That poor NSX

I never understood why you want to fake something - once someone hears it or gets inside it's OBVIOUSLY not a Ferrari. ...and the NSX is such a nice car to begin with, why cut it's value in quarter by gluing on a few hundred pounds of fauxness.

I wholeheartedly agree Ryan. The NSX is the only car that felt more like gokart than the MINI, but very impractical for New England winters!

That licks. I like the first few pics of the actual NSX. After that it all goes to chit. What a waste.
Cheers,

Awful

That is horrible, ot looks like crap, the sides are so flat, the nsx looked better before they molested it. besides, with the money for that nsx and that custom body work, you could buy yourself a decent ferrari 348 or mabye even an early model 355, which would beat the pants off that nsx, and it would be real.

Oh the humanity!

What a waste of a perfectly good NSX (sniff ). I imagine that all that fibreglass will just become a giant stress crack when speeds over 150 mph are attained. Screwing up a perfectly good Pontiac Fiero (if there ever was such a thing) is not the same as messing with Japan's premier supercar, the NSX. Those bodymen should be in the hall of shame.

Having lived in Japan for 7 years in the 80’s I have no idea why this person would not just buy an F-50 of his own. I know this car was not made in the 80's, but if you have the money to do this you could afford a real one. The money he spent on the car and then the rebuild of it would have been upwards of 500/750K in dollars not yen.

Now the one thing I have to respect about the car, because of salt content in the air in Japan a car lasts about 3 to 5 years period. RUST never sleeps so once rusts starts the car is gone forever. Why destroy a real Ferrari F-50 forever for a couple years vanity.

And no matter how the car looks it’s not built on the Ferrari F1 chassis the F-50 is.

Sad that after all the work, it doesn't even look that great. I would just revert back to the NSX.

Blasphemy

Any Honda/Acura NSX is my 2nd fave car behind my MCS. And like the MCS, drive an NSX once and you're hooked, they're so fast, balanced, and reliable beyond reproach. I love the NSX.

But this is blasphemy, pure and simple And it looks just plain Retarded What a waste of a perfectly fine red/black NSX Jimbo

I was at a garage once that had a lot of 240Zs and i looked over and saw what i thought was an old Ferrari 250 GTO. For a second i couldnt believe my eyes, but then i was like, wait a second, Whats a million dollar car doing with dust all over it in a crappy garage??? Then i went in for a closer look and realized that it had fender flares to compensate for wide wheels. I was extremely upset, first at myself for being fooled by such an obvious forgery, then at the owner, good thing he wasnt there. I am a Ferrari extremist and am extremely upset at ANY modifications to a ferrari. They just dont need them, they are already perfect. I was watching Pimp My Ride one day when i saw an Enzo in the shop. I couldnt tell if it was modified at all, but it had "dubs". Wow was i pissed . I was surprised it was even in this country, let alone the west coast customs shop. Uncle Enzo would flip in his grave if he saw that. Im surprised Prez. Luca di Montezemola would sell an Enzo to a person who would do that. Normally he hand pics the person who gets one, and theres a background check done to potential owners, (except Michael Schumacher). But thats just my opinion. I could go on forever, but i have a class in 10 minutes.
