hey i have a friend looking for a sports car. she is comparing the miata, toyota and honda sports models. she lives in a rural area 3 hours from the nearest mini dealer and wants to stay in the japanese car market for reasons of (perceived) reliability and convenience. it doesn't matter what is say about my mini she is set on a japanese car. so my question is: can anyone reccommend a good forum for southern california where a person could find a well cared for miata for sale? i'm thinking the miata for handling and fun and thought one of you out there would be able to advise.

I would go to autotrader.com or recycler.com to find a car then pay a mechanic to go over it. Moss Motors has lots of cool Miata accessories too.

 

I think the biggie Miata forum is miata.net. That might be a good place to start. :smile:
