Just curiouos Anyone here own or owned a Audi TT?
Wife saw a 2016 TTS at the local shopping mall and loved it. Did some reading a research and the TTS seems like a very nice car. Fit, finish, performance (292HP w/ dual clutch auto)
Fun factor owning one?
Cannot imagine it being as much fun as a Mini, but in comparison, does the TT share any of the fun driving characteristics w/ the Mini MCS? It seems small enough to be a traffic "zipper".
Thanks.

My girlfriend was about to get one instead of her Mini. But comparing it to a fully built out S or JCW, the TT was about 15k-20k more expensive, depending on the added features.
On top of being way more expensive, Audi doesn't give any maintenance plan like Mini, with exception of one free oil change. Audi's are also the most expensive cars to work on, toping Mercedes, BMW, etc... so long term it was almost going to be much more expensive.
Few other things... the backseats in the Audi are just there as a joke and are hardly useable, and the storage space is much more limited.
In the end... the TT looks like a fun car to short-term lease, especially if you have more disposable income. It's slightly faster than the Mini, but 0-60 ain't everything.
So anyway... she got a fully built out S, saved about 20k and got equally as fun and sporty driving as a car.
