I have a MINI One and the door lock is messed up.. Basically it has a mind of its own.. it does not open no matter how much I try. Should I just call a locksmith?

 

It depends on the kind of problem that you.. if the plastic sheet is worn out, you can replace it yourself. Actuators can be replaced by oneself too. I have less knowledge about electrical issues. Basically if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, call a locksmith.
