Finally got the garage I wanted, complete with a lift

now I need a fun project car I'm kinda wide open for ideas, miata + engine swap? Z3 + turbo or engine swap? s2000's seem too expensive for what you get

maybe a real angry R53 cooper S ? I considered kits like the Factory five 818 but I really prefer some creature comforts like heat and air and I'm really not too caring about looks or dings/scraches on the paint, more about a fun beater car to work on

Ideas? I have a 135i the thing is too fast to really enjoy without tickets and only comes out when it's nice, and a r56 justacooper that's a real fun car but I cant make it angry as it's the wifes and our daily driver

 

do a honda swapped original mini! and turbo the bastard!
they sell kits for the engine swaps, decent prices too, and honda engines are fairly cheap to build.

i also always wanted to do a mid-engine honda del-sol, or CRX; or a honda engine in an old toyota MR2.

 

If I go with a non airbag car it'll be a kit car too many bad drivers here, mostly soldiers with aggression issues
