$2.999 in Del Mar for full service over a month ago. Very hard to find gas under $2.50 now.

 

price in Europe......$5.00 plus a gallon.......count your lucky stars, for now......

Your right on this one Earl. If this was the cause gas prices in the middle states would be higher than on the coasts, but it seems to be much cheaper there.

 

Er.....small detail about California's fuels. My good friends at the ARB (and they are my good friends) have, in response to the enormous amount of pollution emitted by all Californians and their engines, mandated the use of very specific fuel formulations. These formulations are NOT the same as the ones for the REST of the country thus you lucky souls of paradise get to pay for and use, highly customized fuels......ergo, the big price difference one sees......it applies to both gasoline AND diesel AND it is only gonna get worse. AND it will be good for you cuz if they don't keep it up, we'll be able to tell Californians cuz of the green gills under their chins......(evolution is a wonderful thing)
