RANT- Towing idiots

So la la la, I'm driving to work today and this guy pulling a trailer passes me going about 90MPH (mind you the trailer was carrying an open load of logs and branches), complete with the nice 12" little wheels... So then I hear *thunk* and a small branch hits my car. Now, I was driving a rental car (so I was like baaah), but if I was driving the Mini I would have called the police and followed him...
This s$%& really pisses me off, because it's a.) unsafe b.) the police
do not seem to enforce it...
IMHO, if your pulling a trailer and going excessive speeds, the fines should
be higher. I don't think these idiots realize that when your towing your braking distance greatly increases, and your handling abilities greatly DECREASE. I had one idiot at work say "well because the package is heavier it will track better"... True, it might want to keep going STRAIGHT better, but not STOP better or TURN better

The worst offenders (at least in Michigan) seem to be snow-mobilers in the winter pulling their sleds. Yeah, it's in winter too... Tho their was justice, a friend of mine was cut off by some snowmobilers passing on a two lane road (in the Upper Peninsula) in the winter. The trailer lightly touched the front of her car, put her into a spin and she went off the road. Fourtunately, many witnesses... So the driver ended up with reckless driving AND a reduced form of vehicular assult

but the whole thing still makes me-
crap here in houston..........omg ..........all these guys trailer their damn .....lawnmowers around..........These idoits have like dirt and sand on their lil azz...trailer........omg.............makes me mad
The way I try to avoid these idoits that don't care about anyone else on the road is i go to work really early .............like leave my house at 6am............

Oh boy, that's a good one!
Suuure, vehicles with trailers track a lot better! Is that why they're so easy to reverse?

One time some jackass was towing a Bobcat and hit a bump. Golf ball sized gravel bounced all over the road. Cars dodged all over the place. This was a 3-lane stretch. I ran for the shoulder, but caught a nice one on my windshield. This was on my Ranger, not the MINI. Still really got me mad. If you trailer an earthmover, PLEASE make sure it's not carrying a load of stones on the tracks or bucket!
We have all kinds of gravel haulers mauling cars on the roads. If you Do see one of them tho (and they caused damage to your windshield)- most companies will pay your insurance deductible or even replace the windshield if it cracked or pitted...
But... You must get the truck number, call the company and be precise were it happened and at what time!
