Tesla sighting
Tesla sighting
Spotted on east-bound I-66 in Northern Virginia this morning, a bright red Tesla!!!! Took me a moment to figure out the Virginia vanity tag 'NOXOST.' Translation: 'No Exhaust.'
White one, Granby CT rte 20
I know the range is supposed to be fairly good on the Tesla but Granby isn't exactly close to much (~30mi from Hartford). Seemed a little brave to me.
And it isn't necessarily coal powered. Maybe the driver charges it on solar panels or maybe it's nuclear (creating nuclear waste)???? It all depends where its power is sourced... You just don't know?
Kudos to Tesla pushing the technology forward. We've pretty much hit the wall with combustion technology and eventually electric cars will be cleaner, more efficient and faster then a gasoline powered car can be.
