If I were fortunate enough to be able to afford a Veyron, I would never parallel park it on a street. It could get sideswiped by a gawker, or backed into by a giant SUV who "didn't see it" behind them as they parked by sound.

 

That's must be the worst part about owning a Veyron -- parking among the unwashed masses!

What? How could you say that, when he just said he would! I would definitely care about any vehicle I own, especially the nicer the car is.

I do often say that I am way to **** to own a nice car. I should just buy a beater, then I would not care about it.

THANKS! thats what i would say as an onlooker.... a bunch of people with cameras were taking alot of pics of my mini and me stepping out of it... they ignored the veyron.... lol (this happened in opposite land)...

 

Hahahah, I know right? this was 2 days ago and i didnt wash my mini for 3 weeks! I think thats a new record for me... i just washed it today...

 

Umm I don't know if you know this but you did not park next to a Veyron.

Nice. I think that I would rather rent one than own one though. Myke, this is completely off-topic but what did you put in place of your antenna? It looks really nice.

 

Its the GPS antenna from the factory (The back window has the radio antenna)... I like it a lot too!

I think what he means is if you've got enough money to own, drive, and parallel park a Veyron somewhere, you probably have enough money to treat it like an actual car and not a museum piece.

 

WOW! I am truely jealous... a gransport veyron? Thats the same as what jay leno had as a "loaner" car...

 

You don't want to get me started on Veryons... lol. I saw 3 in one day this week and last year this time, I saw 5 in one day. Yes, there are pics.

Personally, I don't get it. To me they're one of the ugliest cars on the road; then again, I grew up in the Edsel days, and they were mocked out of existence. Younger set, here's an Edsel:

If I had the money, I'd buy a Lotus Esprit or Vector W8 and keep the rest of the money for gas. Of all the exotics out there, I rank Veyrons among the ugliest ever made. I don't like the way the U-shaped grille meshes with the hood. The rear air scoops look tacked on. The whole car looks funny from any angle, even from the side.
