Just about anything BMW (745, 750, 760, M5, M6, 650, M3, etc... and my all-time favorite, the Z8), lots of M-B (love the CLS and SL), some Audis, Porsches (997 is sweet)... Got to drive a Lotus Elise a few times, lots of Corvettes, Maserati, Bentleys, a Viper, Jaguars, Land Rovers, Ferraris...

I spent several years working in the car business, so I got to drive just about everything.
Ditto! Pretty much everything BMW, NSX, 997, 928-S, Maserati Cambrio Corrsa (didnt like it at all) Bentley Flying Spur, E55, Range Rover Sport, Viper (also didnt like). Still havent had a chance to drive a Ferrari or Lambo. All are nice cars with pro's and cons. However, after driving several MCS's since 03 it always amazes how fun a car it can be.

Well for me the nicest is a tie between several BMWs (M5, M3, 750il, 850i) and when I used to work for VW a Diesel Tourag (v10 twin turbo). Sat in a few Ferrari's and other super high end cars, but no one would let me drive them , maybe word got out that I 4 wheeled drifted the M cars!!!!

Totally off topic, but Rossii your car looks great - I'm loving the wheels.

Drove this Murc from GothamDreamCars for a weekend last summer and can honestly say it was worth every penny. Ended up going wayyy over the 100 miles a day limit. This company is owned by Rob Ferretti who is one crazy SOB. If you've seen his movies(SuperSpeeders) then you know what I mean.

I got to do a 25 or so mile drive in a Lotus Europa this weekend. I've always admired that car, amazing how low to the ground you are in it...

Speaking of Lotus... Damnitryon and I drove the wheels off of a Exige S240 this weekend.
I might just abandon the mini yet...

My favorite: a 2003 Z06 Corvette. Fast, nimble, light controls, excellent shifter, very comfortable (16 hours was no problem), no rattles, strong HVAC. A very sweet ride.

A hard question
Rarest: Model A
Fastest: highly modified '03ish WRX (probably)

Best Car: My 06' MCS (I've avoided driving other cars to keep it as the greatest car I've ever driven. I'd be much less happy if my car wasn't the best car I've ever driven.)

I owned one of these in the mid-late '70's. Drove it for about 3+ years.

Low to the ground? oh yah!! - - standing next to it, the top of the roof was level with my waist. Sitting in it felt like your butt would scrape the ground as you drove.

I still don't completely understand how I could so passionately love and hate a machine in equal measure at the same time. Owning that car was my most exhilarating and frustrating automotive experience, by far.

I haven't really ever driven anyone else's car - maybe they don't trust me or maybe I'm just not bold enough to ask. So I can only comment on the cars I've owned.

Perhaps not so "top of the line", but the MB E320 we had in Germany was the "nicest" to drive. It got up to autobahn speeds quite easily, handled very well, and was comfortable all day long.

But the "most fun" is a toss-up between the 2003 Corvette I had a year ago and the 2006 350Z I have now.
The combination of the Corvette's raw power and exhaust note is such a drug. A drug I tell you. It will get you arrested very easily if you're not careful how you use it. But it was a long car, and the seats sucked so tight twisties were no fun (sliding back and forth in your seat makes control much harder) plus the cabin was like an echo chamber so long drives caused headaches.
The 350Z lacks some of the power, but handles better and is quieter (even though this one is a convertible). And the seat just hugs you in place through the tightest turns. Right now it's at the top of my most fun for the buck meter.
I also test drove a BMW 135 and it has potential to replace the 350Z and Corvette, but the model I drove was an automatic and I'd have to have a manual version to really compare. Being a 4 seater though, it's a different driving experience.

I'd like to say my Mini is up there among my favorites, (2004 Cooper S with JCW engine mods), but I guess I'm just a RWD guy and can't get used to the wheel lift and torque steer of a FWD car.

My 1966 427 425 hp corvette in 1966. Acording to Duntov in the vette Magazine they actually had 540 hp with closed exhaust system and over 600 with an open system. Great car and great performance.

Driven? Corvettes, an Audi S8. Drove a 3 series once, that's what made me give up on BMW and get a Mini. For a boat, I was impressed with the Cadillac DTS, but of the bunch I liked the S8 most.
I've always wanted a monstrous Cobra kit car. I'm not much for luxury.

I was lucky to drive a Ferrari 430 Scuderia recently. I had been offered a test drive of a Lamborghini LP-640, and turned it down at the time. I thought, no sense in driving it, because there was no way I was going to buy it. But after that, I decided if someone offers me the opportunity to test drive a car, I am always going to accept...

Here's a pic I took right before I drove it.

Nicest: 2008 BMW M5

I've been in my fair share of fast cars just not super high-end ones. My driving price point is much lower than that. I've sat in a bunch of expensive ones but never driven them.
