Crushed by a humvee?
Last night I was watching "101 cars you must drive" on SPEED with host Alonso Bodden. He said the H1, that he was test driving, was just looking for a Prius or a Mini to run over. He might be able to catch a Prius in that hulking monster, but good luck trying to catch me or anyone else in a Mini! He's hilarious as host of this show and I found myself laughing out loud often. As for the humvee I say "Catch me if you can! Nah nah na na na!"
) Thank GOODness somebody decided to make the military hummers more user-friendly (less battery-butt heat, more comfortable seats, better suspensions), especially for long drives and constant use.I used to want to buy an old one from the military and make it a little nicer to ride (for truck-bed/hauling purposes), but...I still have my F150 Supercrew for big jobs, and I'm perfectly satisfied with my MINI!!!
Apparently he own's a MINI and a Hummer. Check it out here.

The H1 is an awesome military vehicle.
It's a good daily driver for anyone who doesn't have roads to their house, lives in a war zone or has an IQ less then 70.
The H2 & H3 are just for the latter.
Although I think they had a good point reviewing it on top gear
The H2 is horrible but I guess I do understand the Tonka type appeal it holds for some people people. (I think the Hotwheels appeal helped sell me on mini)

The original H1 is made from left over parts from various brand overstock.
The steering column is from the Ford Escort.
