What is it with F@#*ing fools and Big wings? Do people really think this **** looks cool? What the hell... the only function it has is to keep the busted trunk from opening at speed, Judging from the exterior side (not shown) this car wouldnt make it to speed anyways. I know its not my place, but I just want to punch the jackass to bring them back to reality, its not mean to say that, these people really need help
. Oh ya and Its A PONTIAC, you go dude

Yeah, yesterday my wife and I saw an old, faded POS saturn with this HUGE wing on it. It looked like it came off a REALLY large car because it was hanging over the qtr panels by at least 3" on each side.
I just don't get it.

Yea....Im sure Peter would drool over that one. And he does need a Donkey Punch...right to his FUPA. Maybe that will make him be a little bit nicer to people...
matty, why the hate?
Can't you see that it's a GT? Come on - it's got to be running at least a blown straight 6, if not a Hemi V8!
(Bwaaaaa ha ha ha ha!)
Check out this Impala I ran across today.

As you know, I am going through some serious culture shock being back in America after being gone for so long. I can't stop myself from taking photos of the all of the crazy a$$ rims I see -- I have a whole Flick set going of my photos, just of rims.
I should start looking out for the wings.....

Oh I dont have an anger issue, I just dont like people who make poor choices, especially in the automotive world.. Rolling in my Pontiac GT, with the 4 tail pipes and the windows rolled down so my Mullet can blow, The girlies on stand bye just to say HA HA..... I didnt stop, I proceeded to the next block, Seven Eleven that is.
I think that is stupid. We have an //M class its called the JCW. I also don't like the bmw logo inside the mini wings. But hey each to there own.
Also Matt yes Wal-Mart does sell wings. I have seen a few small Aluminum wings in the auto department. Along with plastic Hub Cap Spinners. Who buys them? I have no idea. Hopefully no one.

I have an M3. I think rebadging cars is stupid. I've even seen a Honda Civic with not only M3 badhes, but the M3 side gills implanted in the front fenders.
I never "got it" with debadging either -- seems a subtle form of posturing to me. With BMWs seems it's usually the lower cars in a line that get debadged (like 325/328 as opposed to 330/335).I"m sure before too long we will see MC and MCS wearing JCW badges without any other JCW kit installed.

I agree, but we have someone in the forum with a MCS and M badges on it. There's a picture thread with it.

Yours is deliberately comical (unless you really are trying to pose). I'm talking about non-BMWs with M3 badges (or even non-M BMWs with M badges). I've also seen low-end Hondas with S and VTEC badges. I think that kind of stuff is silly. But that's me.Maybe I should put M6 badges on my M3. I've always felt like it could stand some more power.
I've come to accept the biplane wings on otherwise sedate looking vehicles... It's usually humorous to see the angle of the wing be sufficient to force the rear bumper into the pavement at speeds over 70 mph. Provided, of course, that the vehicle itself is able to reach those speeds in the first place.
Another sign of automotive foolery are those adhesive "portholes". It's rare to see them aligned correctly, but it's also entertaining to see them in weird spots on the vehicle. Seeing them on the lower rear quarter panel behind the back tires was the most unique example I can recall to date...

ITs not re badging but I hate the buick with the masarati side vents. I always see them from the side at a distance and think "Ooo...Masarati!" Till I get closer and its an 80 year old women in the tiger woods endorsed Buick
Do you mean the 3 or 4 vents on the front fenders? That's a Buick thing from *way* back, at least as far as the late 1940's. In fact, it's such a distinctive Buick trademark that I'd likely have the opposite reaction as you - I'd probably see a Maserati and initially mistake it for a Buick if I saw the fender vents.
HA no ****, remember those lambo side kits for the convertible chevy Luvs? That was a meth fueled rage back in the early 90s, I wish I had a picture.
lol the Chevy Luv. My dad owned one of those for the longest time. I hated that damn car! haha
About six years ago, a guy who worked for me changed the oil on his car and decided to put in a new gasket on his oil pan, since it was leaking a little bit.
He put the new gasket on, right on top of the old one.
His engine froze up that night.
So, Monday morning (slow day), we're all scratching our heads, trying to figure out where to get him a new block or motor to slap in there. The problem? His V8 was a rare option.
Tuesday he casually mentions that no, his is a 4 banger. Those V8 badges on the car? Previous owner, trying to be cool.
Needless to say, that joke never dies. And we actually found him a V8 block, but he was too scared to go for it.

Does he need a donkey punch too?
