Got to check out a bmw x-6 today. Haven't decided if I like the looks or not. It looks like a X-5 and a 6 series got drunk one night and mated!

I also test drove a 135 <- ridiculous amount of power for a car of that size.

 

the x6 is supposed to handle hella good. but it's so WEIRD

 

I keep checking at my local BMW/MINI dealership for them, I feel that I really need to see it in person to make judgement...

The pictures weren't too promising for me though.

Saw an X-6 inthe flesh the other day and it's just... different... strange.
Words are hard to describe it. It sits very high, the interior looks small, cramped. It looks aggressive. There was no window sticker on it, but it did look expensive.
I'm just not quite sure about it.

 

I was thinking maybe a 4 door Audi Quatro in full rallye trim or maybe the German version of the Pontiac Aztec (that's too harsh). The slanted back throws me off- is that hatch?

 

Uhhh...I don't know. I think I'd rather have a plain old x5 or x3.

 

The "lift over" height of that hatch is unbelieveable.
Aztec is a little harsh because the X6 is quite stylish vs. downright ugly!

 

I truly enjoy the look of the X6 but was very disappointed in the fact that it gets 20 mpg on the highway. This is supposed to be a crossover
vehicle but is getting similar mpg to the X3 and X5. Maybe I will have to wait a few years to get the diesel version in the states. And it is kinda
weird that it only has 2 seats in the back seat.
In addition, I love the 1 series, but bought the MINI instead because they wanted too much for a cute, tiny BMW.
