It's not permanent though....the roof on those cars can be easily replaced. That one may even be repairable depending on it's thickness. It's no different than a HP junky blowing a piston or me knocking off my front arches from being too low......sometimes you run into a few problems pursuing what you enjoy....you fix them...make them stronger....and then continue on your quest to be louder, faster, lower, etc.

Well, obviously, his *bleep* is much bigger than all of ours.

Well, roof damage *is* harder to repair than engine damage, but I can think of any number of gearheads that have damaged transmissions, twisted/broken driveshafts, or express-mailed a connecting rod through the side of their engine block in the quest for "just a little more power".

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see this as any different. Whenever you have a pure-competition car, whether it's competing at the dragstrip, raceway, or at a sound-off, if you're really pushing the limits, you're going to break things occasionally.

sound comps are like hydraulics comps or burnout comps... when the car receives serious damage like flipping it on its side or blowing the engine you've pushed the car and your abilities to it's limits. THAT is what true HARDCORE enthusiast means. nice find pimp

not a find, i was standing right behind the guy videoing it

was pretty cool in real life

and that is very true. like in a hydraulic comp, when the car flips, (getting all dented, etc) people go crazy.

in car audio comps, when glass shatters and things break, people go crazy too!

I was sure hoping people would have left this kind of thing out of the MIINI's. It just makes me sad to see this kind of crap. Go mod an old Civic hatchback or something.

I wouldn't want to try that in my Mini. The vibration would probably make my other front strut mushroom.

This was my moonroof back in the day...caused by stress from the material...not music....Cool nonetheless and I wanted to repost it. I was the first to have one do this on a Mini to my knowledge....
