Nice santa hat Max!

Starting with a bounder on the bonnet is always a good sign, nice selection (again). I wonder if the Grand Sports are real-I thought those were all in museaums. I think the white Ferrari is a one off-custom bodies 250 TdF-I think. I know I've seem it somewhere else, prob in Morterey coverage.

Thanks Max! A fun, vicarious thrill since I can't seem to drag my sorry self out of bed early on a Sat. morning!
Fun Minis this week! What's the story of the Red classic with the Historical Vehicle plate? Anything unusual?

I enjoy getting the Sat. PM from Max telling me that his mornings effort is in the upload phase. Always nice getting the early look and sending him the selection list. I'm really going to have to go out some weekend to C&C and enjoy this in person. Perhaps Max and I can do a Nikon versus Canon picture duel. :-)

Seems it is unusual - The story is that Downton - a famous Mini Tuning company from 'way back' advertised that it would take a few of the last of the line Minis from the production line and then add 1960's go-faster bits to produce something close to a 1960's works car.

Only two people ordered them - the owner of this one and 'a guy in Ireland'. It is fairly close to the ultimate Mini I guess - the only thing missing was sliding windows....

Bring it on !

I figure that the ideal C&C kit bag contains 2-3 bodies, a super-wide (10-22), walk-about - 24-85 and a decent zoom - 70-200, all with skylight and polarizing filters, spare batteries and 10-12GB of memory cards and a couple of flash guns

A mono-pod is a good idea at the end and maybe a longer lens too ?

+1 for the R5 Turbo, very cool. If your interested you can get those horns at most truck stops. They're called train horns, just don't hit the button around a cop.
