I love trucks, but at the moment do not have one :( I am not a huge fan of the Chevys/GMCs for one reason... no SFA. It looks like your truck is up there, are you still running and IFS? Is your truck all 'spension lift or are you running a body lift also?

Do you have the MINI to make up for the lack of gas mileage you get with the truck? haha

Yeah its all IFS no body lifts..i hate body lifts even with gap gaurds...its running a superlift F.I.T system and Ford torsion keys which is around 7.5 in the front and 6 inches in the back for the lean...its getting 4.56 gears pretty soon...I would like to thow a small dana 44 up front but being 16 makes money verry hard....I also just got a detroit gearless for the back...

We sold our beloved Jeep to make room for the hubby's new toy, a 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500. It's a different type of beast for sure, that you can't go wheeling in mud or dirt with. We miss the Jeep a lot. I don't miss the clean up jobs after the trip though. The Nuclear Bananna is now up North somewhere making new memories with it's new family.

I'll bet that Jeep was fun on the outer banks Mini S, I do miss having a 4x4 for that reason alone.

Sweet FJ, SPD. I was ready to get one of those myself but the gas bill combined with the car loan ruled me out- It's really hard to find an FJ in the south that is not fully loaded and with "dealer extras" that really jack up the stickers.

So just to add to this truck talk, I bought one today. 1991 Chevy K1500 with a 4.3 V6 backed by a 700R4. Cleanest truck of that age I have EVER seen, absolutely no rust on the body and the frame was por15'd and rhino lined. Best part, 25,000 miles on a crate engine and rebuilt tranny!

I have about 7k on these so far, they are getting a little louder over time but not like most mud tires. It really rips thru the dirty stuff though. Also grips well in snow.

Yeah, I go all the time in my Jeep (Libby Renegade w/2inch lift)...I prefer riding at night though.

Here's a few pics I have from over the years (some prelift)

I'd show more pics from nighttime, but they all looks like this

Nice pics JoeyC.

Those new Jeepin' commericals are starting to get to me, but not enough to give up the Mini.

So, you went from one POS to another? Good choice! Lets see, 25k on a new crate motor and trans. That means you can put another 10k on it before it breaks.

I like the jeeps myself but the tranny problems the Cherokee have had over the years has kept me from one...now with that limited lifetime powertrain warranty I might consider one again. As many miles as I drive I just cant afford to have those types of problems down the road.....Mini's and Ford's for us for now!
