I bought a Cavalier when I graduated from college. I didn't mod it but it provided me with 7 years of trouble-free transportation so I can't say a bad word about it & mine had the bigger engine (2.2L was it?) so it was decent quick also

Well, I for one like the clean lines and the ground effects of your little blue car. No, its not a MINI, but lots of cars on the road also are not. Glad you had fun with it, and welcome to NAM!

if you had it for 7 years then it would either be a 2.2 or a 2.4

the 2.2 liters are very sluggish, until they made the 2.2 ecotec, and now gm put out a charger for it and its an m62 so it has a lot of potential

mine has the 2.4 with a bunch of mods and the gm Supercharger kit but it is only an m45 so a little small for that engine

but yeah the 2.4s were pretty quick out of the box, but of course the cooper s is much quicker

Then mine musta been the 2.4. There were only 2 choices when I bought & the slower one was scary slow as in scary to pull out in traffic unless you had a mile clear so I got the quicker one

i definitly think the best part of the car is the paint. It has that indigo blue with the flake in it and everytime i think its a peice i go out and wash and wax and i fall in love again haha
