Concord start

I'll lead from Concord LEAVING at 10 am sharp. I've been watching the radar looks like it should be pretty dry. There are a few spots where we might hit some puddles . Thanks to East Bay Mini, Concord Mini, Mini Mania, and John's European for donating some great RAFFLE PRIZES .

Just heard that Eamon Kerley had an accident, but everyone is OK. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. This is something that we all fear, an accident on one of our MINI/Mini runs.

Eamon we all hope that you and your family are OK and if there is anything we can do to help, please just let us know.

Eamon - Ditto Norm!!! It was quite a rock 'n roll. It is good to know that there were no significant injury except to the MINI.

So sorry to hear the news, Eamon. But very glad to hear that everyone is okay. Echoing Norm's offer -- if there's anything we can do, just let us know.

What a run

Hi everyone, I've talked to Eamon this morning. Shawn and Eamon are both ok, just sore where the belts held on. Just shows you can never be to careful he was going 40 in a 50 zone up hill in the middle of the pack. Thanks to everyone that came.

Eamon,

Glad to hear that you and Sean are OK. After seeing what happened to you I have installed a set of harness belts in our MINI. Although we do try to have safe fun, accidents do happen.

Is your MINI salvageble? Hope your insurance covers this. If not, we should schedule a day, bring our tools, sand paper, paint, any spare parts we can dig up and have a "rebuild party".

MINI Totaled

Thanks for the offer but as you can see the car is beyond repair.
The insurance company is letting me take all the aftermarket parts, as long as I replace them with the original parts (good job I kept them) They also made me an offer that I could not refuse considering the year and milage (120,000).
Never the less I will miss my MINI!! my family says it's like we lost a pet.

Thanks again for the offer and support.
Eamon

Sandpaper and paint? mini pooper - you're an optimist!

Good to see that the MINI protects its occupants!
So the question - do you get an R56, or R53??

Seeya - sent you a PM.
