Keith's Run #3 - February 11th
 

Come out and play Feb 11th!

Third annual run in the memory of Keith Hunt (one of NorCal MINI's founders). Mines road, Mt Hamilton was his favorite run. We'll meet up at Robertson's Park, south Livermore. Followed by a social event at Carlos Goldsteins Cantina (1150 Murphy Ave, San Jose from 3 to 5 pm). Enjoy the sound of the blues from Dr. Gone & Serious Condition Raffle prizes with proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society. Children welcome. I'll post menu soon. We'll give start time after prerun.

If it's anything like last year, what a kick. Has anyone contacted the folks up at Lick Observatory about our arrival. I heard if you give them a 'heads-up' as to what is going on they might be more accomodating than last year.:thumbsup:

i cant find a good enough reason why i and my gf shouden't drive a few hours and make it to this one , a stop at santa barbara and this event would be a great chance to take a small drive :thumbsup:

3 starting places to chose from
 

There will be three starting points for the run. One will be Concord Mini in the north taking Morgan Territory Rd. to Livermore. Another will be the Lyons Resturant on Caliveras Rd:grin: in Milpitas. The third will be the Starbucks on 11th St. in Tracy for the Central Valley folks. All roads will be backroads:grin: . The first two will add about an hour. Tracy will take about half that. Note if you have a lowered car Morgan Territory has a few spots that might be to close for comfort:eek2: . We plan to be in San Jose at 3pm, we should be out of Livermore (S. Livermore and Concannon in the Robertson park parking lot)around 12pm. Concord, Milpitas and Tracy around 1030am.

Gonna have to miss it, although I do like the Mines Road. I'll be at Sears Point that day.

Mixing It Up a Bit

Carlos Goldstein's Cantina is usualy closed on Sunday but will be open for this event. Chicken Enchilada, Chili Verde, Quesedia (rice, beans) Buffet will be waiting for us so we don't have to wait ($10 per person, small children free). Need a head count. If you plan on eating please RSVP an e-mail to info@norcalminis.com with how many.

I'll try to gather some more classics from MOASF. Great run last time.

Heres the three early meetup spots #1 Concord Mini LEAVING at 10am. 1961 Market St, Concord. #2 Milpitas, Lyons 765 E.Calaveras Leaving at 10am. #3 Tracy, Starbucks 1875 W.11th St. Leaving at 1030am. Rick S is leading from Concord. We have someone for Milpitas also. We need someone for Tracy any takers? We will leave from Livermore at 1130am. This is open to any and all Minis. Other Little Brtitsh Cars always welcome:thumbsup: . Don't forget to rsvp for the buffet:nod: .

I may come out with my dad and meet you guys for my first run. My dad used to make this same run in his Datsun 510 back in the day.

I'll be comming out of Union City.
