Do we have a roll call as to who's participating? I'm guessing there are some that have not posted, but have contacted one of you?

 

I have a list going, but don't think we'll have a better idea until later in the week. I've posted this event on a couple other places so we'll see what kind of response we'll get. There is a new MINI group in Monterey that I'm trying to get to come up and join us for the day.

 

how long is the hunt for?

 

Be at Xilinx by 9:30 for check-in, rules & information. The Hunt starts at 10am and ends at 1pm.

Some more information...

Things on the list that you will be hunting for include Items, Pictures (bring your digital/polaroid camera!) and Locations within Santa Clara County.

The length of the Hunt will be 3 hours: 10am to 1pm.
Please arrive at Xilinx by 9:30am for check-in, rules and information.

We will end with lunch (please bring cash for your meal) and an awards ceremony starting at 1pm. Yes, there are prizes! You'll find the location of the final meeting place during the Hunt.

Depending on how many MINIs participate, teams of 2-4 cars will be created before the Hunt begins. Drivers will need to present a valid driver's license before participating. Co-pilots and other passengers are allowed.

Nav systems may be used. If you don't have Nav bring a map of the county. Knowing major sites/landmarks of the county will very helpful!

Bring pen & paper and your cell phone as well.

Can someone participate without a MINI? I know, I know, it is a mini run, but occasionally, we have guests.

Nikki and Lidia,

Thank you sooooo muh or putting in all the time and effort to organize this! For those of you who did not come out, you missed a lot of fun. We felt like we were in The Amazing Race and Treasure Hunters at the same time.

The prizes were very cool and I really hope this becomes an annual event. If it does become tradition, all of you who did not make it need to set aside the date for the next one

 

Nikki and Lidia, thank you so much, me and my little brother had alot of fun.

I have to say thanks for such a great day. I had loads of fun. Maverick MINIs Rock.

I am wondering.... How many people are going to show up at the next event with RC replicas of their MINIs (or Mustangs)....

I can hardly wait for the next event.
