I'm just sitting here getting jelous. Looks to be a fabulous day (I went to Pidgeon Point yesterday) and the air is much, much cooler coast-side. I'm going to the east bay to fry! Grrrrrrr.

with my weight (although I've dropped a few due to a case of bronchitis), I was worried that the planet would tilt!

At least now I don't have to worry about changing the seasons!

What a fun run. Nice to meet everyone. Enjoyed the stop near the beach.

Just a bit longer Dr. O and I'll be back over there and you can return.

Absolutely Great pics! Sorry I missed this one. Looked like the best weather.

Just got back from Shasta doing some recon work for next weeks run. Everyone is welcome to join us on the Shasta Run. We leave Friday morning from Healdsburg. If you want make some or all of the run.

Cheers and keep the rubber side down.

Thanks everyone for another fantastic Run!
Great weather, great roads and great friends! Can't beat that combo!

TRDL - glad you managed to make it. Sorry your wife wasn't fairing so well, I hope she recovered quickly.

Glenn - as always, you are a diehard! Thanks for shlepping all the way down from Tahoe. It's always a pleasure to have you join us!

Props to Creeker, Skotto, Escape Pod and McLeonard for your contributions to the route, organizing and playing leader! You guys Rock!

Next month my new tires will be broken in and I'll be back in form -- at the front of the pack!

See you soon!

Yes! What header are you installing and is it the same one Rany Webb was talking about with relocated O2 sensors to obtain better MPG?

What a fabulous day!! The roads were twisty, the sun was shining and the Minis were zoomin'! It doesn't get much better than that. I even got airborne after hitting one bump in the road - a first for me, and a way cool experience!!

It was great to meet new friends and to be able to put some faces to the "names". Many thanks to all of you who spent time mapping and planning the run - it was a truly enjoyable day!

Looking forward to seeing some of you all on the REME Shasta Run later this week - Glenn, I know you'll be there, you diehard, you!

Till then - Ta!

Hello from Lake Tahoe. Thanks Nikki for the kind words. What a GREAT day for a MINI adventure. We had LOTS of Twisty's... Jim, You were missed. I was the only Electric Blue.. For the first time I was the Leader of a portion of a Nikki run. I could not get the smile off my face and my hands were glued to the wheel. Sorry about not letting others know of upcoming traffic, radio was on the seat and could not take my hands away from the twisty's It was really good also to put faces to the names. .See you next time ,,Glenn

Great run Nikki.
It was nice to be able to see everyone in daylight since our first Nikki run was the midnight SF run. We got to actually meet a few of the Mavericks.

Great roads to zip around on. It felt kind of like a track day with so many curves. Only bad news is we picked up a rock chip from some of the new asphalt. Well, we did already have two chips that were out of the drivers line of vision, but this one is right in front of the driver, so a new windshield is now part of the budget. Oh well, it's all part of having fun in the MINI.

Jason, sorry about your car crapping out on you again. I hope you make it to the next one.

Cheers,
Pete and Stephanie Flores
