Cheers,
How about this route? It's a bit different and gets us out of our normal weekend driving roads.
We meet at 280 and Page Mill road at the park and ride. Clutches out at 9:15.
We begin a spirted run up 280 and through the city, and across the GG bridge where we stop on the north side vista point parking lot. Here's where we can take a break and pick up anyone from the north bay.
Then back on the road a few miles to highway 1, up the coast and along the Pt. Reyes National Seashore for 20 miles to the Point Reyes Cafe for lunch.
This route travels all of the diversity we have in the bay area, great highway, a bit of city driving, the GGB, the beautiful coast and the Pt. Reyes National Seashore.
This may seem like a long trip but MS Streets and Trips says it's roughly 75 miles. Sounds like it meets the requirements of something different!

Dang I can't make the 29th but could if it were the 30th.
The run up the coast was something I also was going to propose.

Hi everyone,
Can't make it on the 29th, have to work. One other route you may want to consider is HWY 1 down to Big Sur. Beautiful drive with lots of twisty roads all the way. You can stop and have lunch at Nepenthe's for an awesome view of the coast while eating.

Reminder: Turn Clocks Back...
Just a reminder that we turn our clocks back
one hour to PST on Sunday morning, 2 am.
Otherwise, you'll be arriving an hour early for
the run and asking yourself "Where the $%@%^$
is everyone?"
