Yesterday's Northern California Mini Meet was quite the event! 43 cars whipped through the hills at breakneck speeds. Pictures can be seen here:

How about a run from West Valley College, in Saratoga to Big Basin Redwoods State Park???

I was the one with the roof rack and no back seats.

I have to admit it was a fun time. I couldn't believe all the MINI's that showed up.
I also found out the (2) things that could slow a MINI down in the mountains ... a freshly graveled road going up and a Sherrif on the way down. I couldn't believe my luck when that big white SUV pulled out behind me just after leaving the observatory. He followed me all the way down the hill to the regional park. Oh well, I guess he kept me from doing something stupid.
