Webb Motorsports at MMW!
Webb Motorsports at MMW!
Just a reminder that we will be bringing out the "Mule" and some products, as well as holding a pulley party at the Marriott! We will also be entering the Mule in the Sunday autocross.
We will be installing pulleys, intakes, swaybars, ignition parts, and ECU upgrades at the pulley party. You can sign up here.
This will be the fourth pulley party we have had in the Bay Area, and we look forward to continuing the great relationship we have with our customers in the Northern California area! We also are the only company in the aftermarket industry to offer a full warranty on all parts and labor for 2years/24,000 miles - you can check out the warranty info (in writing) here. We are now over 620 pulley installations, more than any other tuner in the world!
I look forward to seeing you all there!

Sorry to ask this, but how is your warranty different from Mini Mania's if you are saying this? The wording on both looks to include and exclude the same things...
I ask because I got the Ultrik CAI because of their warranty, I didn't know about yours.

Hi Bill,
I'm not a rep for Webb MotorSports, but I'll try to be of some help...
Mania's Warranty comes with a notable difference (exception or exclusion), that impacts many of us: it will not cover a MINI that has been engaged in a competitive event. Being that most of us who mod our cars have that very intention, Webb's Warranty makes more sense...
I couldn't find Mania's Vendor Announcement last year, but I did locate this thread:

Hi Randy....
Been considering a pulley for 05 MCS. I do have a question about it...
In the description on your website, it says that with the 15% reduction pulley, you can "spin the supercharger faster, sooner, and increase pressure".
My question is, What is the supercharger "designed" to spin at? Is the factory setting not spinning the supercharger at the optimum speed? If it is, wouldn't it really put wear and tear on your bearings for the supercharger?
Just curious. Thanks!
john
