What a day . Thanks to all that came out and those that made it possible .

 

Thunderhill was by far my best driving experience ever.

Thanks to all the people who made it possible,and the instructors who were

patient with this new Mini driver. I'll be looking foward to the next Norcal

event.

 

You can see two laps from my in-car camera on Google Video here. I thought I was doing pretty well, with both laps at about 2:50. Then I looked up the track record in a Mini by Joe Huffaker at 2:02.

Only Al (KUL KUPR) made it into the video for those two laps. I have some more footage with LPHABA and INDBLMC and at least one other that I'll get to next.

Thanks for sharing the video. Your lines look pretty darn good to me (not that I would know). Smooth, hitting the apex, and a good wide exit using all the track.....seems like you were hitting all the right spots...... Don't worry about Joe Huffaker's times, he is usually way faster than everybody.

I compiled all the passes I had on the two sessions I taped, and stitched them all together. You're not going to like the final "score."

Too bad we were always on opposite sides of the track. I would have liked to see my car on video.....as I was going by you!

it was a good day for sure. Wonder if we can get another all MINI day in 2007?

And for the guy who asked, its not the tires that makes me faster...

 

I see many things I did wrong.

I hope that was my first run on the track!
