Hi bpago!
I live in Dublin. I plan to motor with another member who lives in Union City. We can meet at East Bay MINI. However, I need to stop by at Embassy Suites in Salinas to pick up my ticket. Please let me know what time you plan to meet. Thanks.

Hey all, I've been a little absent from club activities lately: a new love in ones life will tend to do that
Anyway, I would be interested in joining the convoy for Saturday at least. I live in down town San Jose and would love to hook up with the convoy on the road somewhere. With that in mind, what route will the convoy be taking? And will there be an interum stop so that us San Jose people can meet up? Someone mentioned meeting at 101s, but didn't suggest a spot. If I knew 101s better I'd suggest one. Looking forward to the event!!!

Hi guys,
For those in San Jose, a bunch of us classic minis are meeting in South San Jose on Saturday the 19th, and travelling through the twisties to get to Monterey.
The address of departure is the Starbucks at 125 Bernal Road, San Jose, California 95119. It's really close to the 101/85 interchange. We are leaving
EARLY at 6:30am, and even have a few guys joining us from the MOALA club for the trip down.
Please come along and join us. These old cars don't bite.

Sounds great
dr dave,
Thanks for the generous invitation for new MINIs to join your convoy of classics. I'll be at the meet point just before 6:30 in my Pepper White/Black 06 MCS, and am looking forward to driving down with you.

Dr Dave, Cuilan and I will see you early on Saturday morning (MCS DS/DS checkered). It will be a treat to join the classic Minis. Thanks for coordinating the meet up location. Thanks again for letting my try on your classic today too!
Rossii, we don't have a hotel, so we'll be driving back and forth again on Sunday. South Bay meet-up again on Sunday anyone?
Cheers,
Dave

Dr. Dave - bpago - what route will you be taking south? Living in Hollister I don't want to travel north to go south but would like to meet up with caravan as it passes by (either 101 or 1).

DrlSlvrS:
I know what you mean about travelling North from Hollister. A couple of guys with classics are staying at the Super 8 in Gilroy, and are coming north for the trip down as well. I mapped it for them, and it's only 20 minutes normally, however, at 6am on a Saturday, it's more like 15. At that time, from 25 and 101 it's probably 25 minutes or less. I know I'm doing alot of arm twisting here, but it'd be great to have you along. Otherwise we should be in downtown Salinas by 7:30, assuming no one breaks down (this does occasionally happen).
Katmeho:
Actually we are hoping for the usual 5+ classics from Oakland to show up. We will wait for you.
NOTE: the MOASF club cell phone # for the day will be (408) 209-3592. So call if you are running behind or lost.

I work in San Jose so I travel north 5-days a week. I very rarely take the freeway, prefering to drive the back roads (Watsonville Rd., Uvas Rd) but I guess I can make the exception in this case.
thanks for the invitation.

PS: was that you in the classic at the Santana Row exotics this morning?
