in search of a cat-back to buy(opinions)

I'm about to buy an exhaust system for my 03 MINI and I want to hear some feedback. I've searched some message boards on this sight, but most of the forum responses are a few months old and limited to one or two brands. I'm leaning towards ALTA, but I want to hear some new info. I want a little noise(want to hear my stereo w/o drone) with some HP gain. Borla leans to the high end $$$ and I'm not going that route.

sando4552 - Have you gone on any runs? Usually there will be a wide assortment of modifications that owners have done to their cars. You can get a true impression of what an exhaust sounds/feels like if your standing next to it (or riding/driving the car - in some cases). And, as a benefit (?), you'll probable discover the next couple of mods that you'll want to make, after you install your new exhaust.

glad to hear from somone with an Alta system(finally!) I emailed the Alta techs and they sent me some audio clips, which were helpful. It is still in my top three choices-price is one factor. Thanks for input.

I've done the intake and pulley so I figured the exhaust was next in line. Thanks
