NORCAL RUN OF THE MONTH to APPLE HILL
I (and at least one additional car) will be waiting in a fast food joint right past the hwy 12 & 680 merge onto 80.... Suisun Valley Road (I think... I'll correct it later if its wrong) on the east side of 80... the offramp that leads to Camping World and Scandia.... technically in Suisun City or Fairfield?
I am guessing you'll be driving through there about 8:30 - 8:40am.
If we have a 5 minute warning (maybe when the caravan just leaves Vallejo) we will get onto the freeway, driving slowly in the slow lane until the group catches up.

Zied,
I like the idea.
We have used in the past channel 17 sub 7 which seems to work. I will be in the first group so I will ask Larry for us all to be set to that if it works for your group.
Also Larry has the Norcalminiscell phone
510 919 8889. So you can get updates on our progress. If one of you from each of the groups ring him then it should not be too many calls for him to answer.
Any other good suggestions out there?
Regards
Keith (officer Norcalminis)

The radio channel is set at 14-7 on two web sites, to two clubs , and was e-mailed to all members. Lets not make my job anymore difficult . Larry (event coordinator Norcalminis)

For future runs, 14 is a bad channel... maximum range in any equipment is only 3 miles.... my 2cents... channel 17 as suggested in an earlier post will go 6-8 miles.
somewhere close to 205 & 5 or 99, open for ideas. If I was picking a spot, starbucks on 11th street and Corral hollow would be easy.

Sure, but I don't know where that is?? If there's a fastfood/starbucks joint around where you're at Zied, I can meet you there? Don't think I'll check this board until tomorrow morning, but if you give me a definite location, I can meet you there!
How about the Carl's JR.... there are other places, but I don't know what they are... take the Suisun Valley Road - Pittman Road offramp. turn left onto Central Place. Address: 4400 Central Pl, Suisun City (Fairfield), CA 94585.. it opens at 6:30am. The offramp is close (north 1 or 2 exits) to the 680 merge.
It's right next door (to the south) of Camping World. Many gas stations close by. We will get there between 8am and 8:30am. I hope to see you there.

Apple run
Dear all,
Just wanted to thank all the people who came out and contributed to making the Apple day a success.
I would like to mention Larry P and Tami who put so much effort into the run and kept us all organized - thank you Larry.
We had a great turn-out (approx 25-30 cars) and I believe that all had a good time.
This is what our club Norcalminis.com and the Minis is all about. We will post the pictures soon.
Regards
