I recently moved from LA to Monterey, only to find that the closest MINI dealer is about an hour and a half away! Being time for an oil change (and wanting to switch from Castrol to Mobil 1 anyways), a friend recommended checking out Performance Cafe in Monterey. They primarily specialize in VW/Audi tuning, but cater in ALL euro makes in both services and aftermarket parts.

I scheduled the appointment, brought the car down, and within an hour was out of there with fresh Mobil 1 and a new OEM oil filter. Their primary technician is a VW Certified Master Tech and the employees were more than helpful. They even gave me some great price quotes on suspension, exhaust and a few other parts I'll be purchasing shortly.

The oil change (5 quarts of Mobil 1 Synthetic and an OEM filter kit) only cost me $100!

They have a full service shop with 2 lifts and can do pretty much any maintenance or installs you're looking for. While their website does not have any MINI specific parts on it, they can get you pretty much anything you're looking for. For starters, I had them pick me up a shorty antenna to get rid of the OEM R/C car look
