So, I was in New England this week with Sprog II delivering something (yes, I used a MINI to deliver something to a friend), saw two MINIs, figured I'd ask who they are.

Okay, both were on I-84. The first was actually in Connecticuit (sp), I believe, or just inside New York. It was a LY/W cooper with body-color bumperettes, flying down the hammer lane going east. This any of you? The second was in a bit further, a CR/W MCS that went flying by me at about Mach 1567332423453, give or take a few, beeping. Luckily I have an S too, so I caught up and waved (hope you didn't get a ticket, dude, a flashy red car flying down the road, weaving around in traffic - cop magnet! Luckily there weren't any on I-84 today.)

Surprised I only saw 2 other MINIs in 1300 miles of driving. Oh well, was cool seeing you both!

Got Sprog II up to 120 today, didn't have a chance to open it up all the way, but that's the fastest I've ever driven on the road to date. I'm amazed how high 3rd gear goes, it was at 110 and still pulling!

Too bad you didn't take the Taconic Parkway as an alternate route, you would have had a lot of company, I think we had about 44 MINIs at today's meet.

No way! Wish I would have known, I took it yesterday up to rt. 90 Was so freakin' rainy I wouldn't have been able to see any MINIs anyways. What time was your meet? I would have been at the Taconic Pkwy at about 10-10:30 am if I had gone that route. I should have - I-91 is a pain. Connecticuit in general is a pain. Stupid left hand exits.
