I will be motoring up the Hutch to 684 then 84 to the dairy, I am coming in from LI, if you want to hookup at 287 and 684 on Sunday morning pm me at dkstone2@optonline.net. I should make it to 684 by 8:00 am

 

Should I stay or should I go?? is the big question of the day.

Here's the deal: on Wednesday my CVT stalled out after 3 or 4 months of no-stalling. I brought her to the dealer yesterday and they couldn't find the problem. So all day I was bummed out, thinking I might have to get a whole new car and I'd have to miss out on all the meets coming up. But a friend said to me, "if they can't find the problem, just drive it till it breaks." True enough, I thought. I have roadside assistance, the stalling has only occurred at low speeds (safe enough speeds to let me pull over quickly), and it is such a random thing that I might be missing out on some awesome fun just to be safe.

I am now leaning towards GO. What do you guys think?

 

Harmini - GO! Thats what the warranty is for. Luckily I have had no problems with my new CVT. (knock on particle board) Ill see everyone Sunday, think I might bring my Dad...he is getting into this whole MINI thing and I am trying to convince him to buy one instead of a Jaguar.

Really! Yeah. We shoulda, ants. Good news I'm working on a post dinner route that goes down Obtuse Rocks Road to Newtown, one of my all time faves. I'll be going from there to Brewster, NY, where I will have picked up my friend that morning. That means we'll be seeing 84W, Rte 25, Rte 7, and 84E, along with other, more fun departure routes. Just an idea now.

 

You people all have a GREAT time tomorrow ... probably will be much more fun than the Peabody rally - but at least I don't need to get up at 6am now :smile:
