I was told today that there were about 40-50 cars planning to attend. I would figure about 70 people or so.

 

I can't make it I have to work saturday and I will only be home one day before I go down to Philly on Monday.

Well I will try to make the next one

 

WOO HOO! I finally get to make it to a MINI Meet, even though the lake is only 50 miles from my house if I go direct, I'll make the trip south to join everyone else for the drive up the Taconic. See you there (in best car ad on TV voice) SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

I figure about 50 MINI. I had MINI pins make up for the occasion.

Since it looks like there'll be some grilling going on, is there a need to bring stuff for the masses (i.e., paper plates, snacks, soda, napkins, burgers, etc...) or is the plan just to BYO.
I'd be more than happy to bring some stuff. Anyone coordinating this? Just say the word.

Yes, Mini Queen wanted me to tell you all, that we need people to BRING stuff. Food, burgers, dogs, chips, soda, beer, snacks..whatever. We will be bringing some stuff but we cant possibly bring enough for everyone, so everyone try to bring something and we will all share.

 

I am bringing 2 cases of soda and napkins/plates/etc

 

I'll start to make a list. Everyone start telling me what they want to bring.

 

Also, if anyone is coming from the Albany area, you can just meet us at the Lake Tagkonic State Park at about 1:30pm

From my understanding it is something for everyone. Kind of like bringing cupcakes in on your birthday when you were in grade school

 

so we should bring one item (mass consumption) with everyone in mind......right

I can bring potato chips...real exciting, I know...

 

mikes hard lemonade... (not enough for anyone to get drunk)

 

My wife will be baking I'm sure....Maybe peanut butter Hugs & Kisses sugar cookies...Yeah that sounds about right!

 

I'll also have a tripod along with my camera gear - I think we should try and get a nice organized shot of our MINI's together...

 

I just cant wait for the hours drive! woo hoo. A ton of MINIs up the TSP!
