ok.. since I have posted in the Meets section... lets recap it all here:

Summer on LI-Part 1 Sunday Aug 1
we start at the Montauk Point/Oyster Pond OVERLOOK (not the Montauk Point parking lot.. so pee in advance.. or get your coffee in advance). This is located on the south side (east bound) of Montauk Hwy on the rise AFTER the Deep Hollow Ranch (america's 1st cattle ranch)

we will start at 9 AM yeah..I know.... and head east looping the Montauk Point lot and coming back with zigs and zags thru Montauk and around Fort Pond... taking the old Montauk Hwy that all of you loved from my first run.. and leaving montauk hwy in Napeague.. heading to the back roads of Springs, Fireplace.. etc...
pit stop at 3 Mile Harbor and be aware.. after this we hit some dirt and rough roads (yeah. this IS the Hamptons) not seeing rt 27 until tuckahoe which is AFTER Southhampton.. That's right we will not see any of the major towns!. once more like the RLi.. north road and over rt 27 and the canal.. but heading north along Flanders Bay coming out on Rt 24.. Picture op at the Big Duck again if you wish... and ending at the Hampton Bays Diner on 24 & 27a

Summer on LI-Part 2 Sunday Aug 8
we will start as usual.. the top deck of the south parking garage at Roosevelt Field Mall.. also at 9 am(though this might be 9:30)
heading as before.. the parkway around to Post Road north.. and heading to Wheatly rd and Wolver Hollow.. heading up thru the Gold Coast area
we will zig zag up to Feeks lane crossing the causeway (we will do this twice) then heading up to Bayville.. and coming back down Factory Pond rd and heading to Oyster Bay.. and going sorta around it.. and thru a small single lane road..
then a brief byway to Sagamore Hill where you can stretch and have a pit stop.. before heading back down cove neck to Laurel Hollow and Ridge road.. and heading thru Cold Spring Harbor to the infamous Snake Hill Road.. then heading south to the West Hills where we do a large figure 8 with Sweet Hollow Road and Mt Misery Road before ending at Walt Whitman Mall.

I further represent that I have all necessary licenses and insurance to operate my MINI and to participate in the Rally, and that I am not taking any drugs or medication, I am not under the influence of alcohol, nor do I have any physical or mental limitations, that would interfere with my safe participation in the Rally. I recognize that the operation of any MINI is an inherently dangerous activity with a risk of damage or loss of the MINI and serious injury or death to myself and/or to my passengers. I understand that these risks include, but are not limited to: inclement weather, road surface conditions, debris on roads, varying road widths, curves and other vehicles and pedestrians sharing the roadway, and the skills of other participants in the Rally. _______ (initials)
