"Bermuda Triangle" for SatNav near the Holland Tunnel?
#1
On two separate occassions, months apart, my nav system has rebooted repeatedly while driving. This only occurred when I was within a few miles of the Holland Tunnel. The first time was in January 24th. It rebooted repeatedly both before and after the tunnel, coming from Manhattan to New Jersey. The second time this happened was on May 23rd, on the NJ Turnpike in the vicinity of exit 15. I have not experienced this rebooting in any other part of NY, NJ, PA, etc.
I find it highly coincidental that my nav system only has problems in that specific pocket of the world. Anyone else find similar oddness? Conspiracy theories, anyone?

Conspiracy theory? Here goes,
Could it be that either a landbased atennae or the GPS signal itself can contain some sort of a feedback signal to shut the unit down? What type of GPS do you have? Some of them use land based antennae as well to facilitate fine tuning of the location. Maybe with NewYork being a terrorist hot spot that you could have fumbled onto a jamming station of some sort?
Then again it could be as simple as a bump in the road in that section that jostles a power connection.
