If anyone is plannig on purchasing a cat back exhaust for a 2004 built mcs you will have a challenge with the install. The hanger position of the inside hanger has been changed. It now runs back to front instaed of side to side, I had my scorpion exhaust delivered on Friday and was annoyed when I jacked the car up and saw the change. I will now be taking it to a muffler shop tp be installed as I don't have a mig welded to weld the hanger or arm from the muffler in another postion.

 

I posted this in the wrong forum I am new to the site and unsure how to move it to rperformance mods. HELP!!!!

 

Hmm, interesting. Just for the record, my supersprint exhaust mounted up fine.

This is an issue for jcw exhausts as well. The kit that has been waiting at the dealer for weeks while your new 04 has been in transit probably isn't going to fit...
