Delaware Mini owners

It seems there is no Mini Club in Delaware so I'm looking for anyone interested in starting one. So far, I've only found 2 others interested. I see Minis everywhere but none seem to be listed on any site I've been to. HELLO...Anyone out there???

Bummer Sax - not a lot of Delaware mini owners on this site, huh?
I'm not an owner yet, only doing the researching and hopefully will be an owner soon. Will have to get back to you after it's a done deal!

If you come back & see this -- did you buy yours locally and have a good experience with the dealer?

Sorry, I can't help much with dealers. I bought mine last Sept. at a used car sale from a Ford dealer. Luckily, they had no idea what the "John Cooper Works" badge on the dash meant. The closest dealer to me is Annapolis, MD. The only business I did there with was ordering a new fob and they failed to mention that on top of the $160.75 for the fob there was a $125/hour labor charge to program it. At least they did a great job cleaning the car in and out at no extra charge. I've talked to a couple people down here who bought thier Minis at dealers in the Philadelphia area. They seemed happy with the service they got and the labor charge was cheaper. If you're closer to them, try Otto's (I think in West Chester) or Mainline Mini in Bala Cynwood. They just sponsored an SCCA solo event here in Dover Sunday. It's a shame only 5 Minis showed up.

Yeah, I've been working with Otto's and Mainline. Just wondering if either is any better or pretty much the same. I've been waiting for some numbers from they guy at Mainline - have heard nothing for several days now, since the middle of last week. That seems weird to me - I guess they sell enough that they're not hungry.
Sounds like you got a sweet deal from that Ford dealer!

I guess I did OK. It had 63k on it (pretty low for an '02) with a Blue Book value of just over 16k and I paid 11.5k.

Excellent deal!

It looks great - I'm sure you turn heads down in Dover driving that. Isn't everyone else below the canal in a pickup?
