the SCCA New England Region runs at Devens (Ayer) and the NHIS VIP Lot up towards Laconia in NH. The schedule is posted at http://www.ner.org (check the Solo section). Our opening event is April 13th [pray for good weather].

other clubs running in the area include the Boston BMW Club (at http://www.boston-bmwcca.org) who also run Devens several times a year, and certainly the Porsche Club (at www.ncr-pca.org) who also use that site...

feel free to PM me for more info, and I hope you can have some fun autocrossing this year!

For more general info on autocrossing see the Racing: Autocross Forums.

There are Forums for each class depending on which level of upgrades you've done or plan to do.

Good luck and post about how your did or how your liked it.

Yes, there are many autocross forums for basic information on solo racing and on each SCCA class for the MINI. Look far down near the end of the list of forums.

See

Look up which class you would compete in for your 2002 MCS with modifications and Kosei K1 Racing 17x7.5 wheels and 215/40-17 tires.

Each organization has different rules and different classes.

A stock MCS would be G-stock

If you have mods but no upgraded pulley then STX if you have street tires or DSP if you have R compound tires.

Once you add any pulley upgrade you go to SM class. Only the rear seat can be removed otherwise all of these classes don't allow removal of front seats or interior panels.
