Anthony is leaving and I want to get the crew together for one last ride before he goes. Aug. 24th is the date I suggested and Ants said it's good for him. I'll start another thread about that later today.

Sorry to be such a freakin weather wussie, but I spent hours yesterday out in the pouring rain and I'm just not up for another wet day.

It's sure humid but it's stopped raining over here in the river towns. (Sorta like how the c'van LAST sunday started GMINI...)

Was a great run guys.... sun actually showed for most of the day. Was nice meeting Peter (uptick). That boy has more gadgets in his car than me.

 

Those wet roads sure were fun!! And the dry ones tore rubber off my tires.
Top speed seemed like 115 (but couldn't have been since we obeyed the posted speed limit on every street.)
Great day for motoring. Missed you kim - especially as this meet was per your request.

I especially ejoyed the conversation in between. Mini motorers on current events.
I don't think we actually talked about cars but like three times.
And nobody ever mentioned movies - that's the measure of a good conversation in my book.

Love to do it again and again and again (and again!)

Hey guys, great fun run today! Nice to 'break-out' after breaking-in for about 3 weeks. Ants- how fun to have 2 CVTs run with the pack of Ses with attitudes! I just replayed the GPS log file and we sure covered some nice roads there - thanks koolmini for the lead.

I guess this is what we missed at that turnaround:


...but certainly no lack of excitement on some of those slick turns.

Yeah I am really pissed that road was closed. Lotsa towistes, no potholes and ehat a view! Just finished detailing my whole MINI! Now Im beat! Great pics Julian.

 

what a bummer that route 218 was closed, we probably could of parked 6 MINI's at the top.....maybe
it was kool seeing the 5 of you's in my rear veiw, all of you's had white hood stripes
