Oh no, I forgot to add GMINIO to my tally. Sorry, bud......

That makes it: 53 cars in total that say that they're coming.

47 MINIs
2 Minis
4 non Mini/MINIs

Patty (PW/B) is going. Let me tell her about the caravan. She just got herself signed up on MCO tonight.

Is koolmini going with you G?

Hank Jul 29, 2003 08:20 PM

Can't make it this Sunday, previous engagement. Have a fun drive everyone!

Not yet. I should pay more attention to the action on the midatlantic board.

Sorry to miss you, Hank.

Hey fellow MINIacs!

A couple of questions for you from a West Coaster...
1. Where's Danbury?
2. Anybody want a co-pilot?

I'm over in Groton for work and I don't really have any plans, but this sounds like a cool way to spend a Sunday away from home. My MCS is home in Oregon, but I might show up in my rental Ford (talk about slumming!) if someone wants a MINI co-pilot and is headed back toward Danbury to drop me off at my car.

HARMINI Aug 2, 2003 06:52 AM

Hey jimmer0, let's see if I can help coordinate this for you. Danbury is over an hour and a half from Groton and would take you pretty far west to then travel south to Pa. There is someone coming from Darien (Patty). That is on the way from Groton to Pa. Email Patty at Pattysmouse@aol.com. She might be looking for a co-pilot. I'll do some more brainstorming for ya. I really think it would be cool to have one of our west coast friends with us for the day.

GMINIO Aug 2, 2003 07:26 AM

And the Danbury option is fully available to you. We've got two cars meeting there, both solo drivers, and we're picking up two more along the way. Gotta imagine being here at 6:30am, though. You could sleep if loudish music doesn't kep you up.

jimmer0 Aug 2, 2003 07:09 PM

Thanks fellow MINIacs!

I didn't check messages early enough to try to get ahold of Patty, so I'll just try to make it to Danbury by 6:30.

GMINIO Aug 2, 2003 07:17 PM

O WOW! I hope you make it. See you tomorrow.

You're quite the trooper.

d-mini-ero Aug 2, 2003 07:30 PM

I'm tied up tomorrow ....

Have a great day all..

Peace,
D

I bet you all have just left, but here's what Scott wrote on the other thread:

URGENT,

Minor error in directions provided by White Rose Cafe!!!

To all of our fellow motorists that will be driving from the North, the directions for the retaurant provided by the White Rose Cafe are wrong!

They are correct if you are heading on I-95 Northbound, but NOT I-95 Southbound!!

Can't believe I missed this one!!

It's very easy.

I-95 South to the Newtown-Yardley exit (as instructed), however, at the top of the ramp, turn RIGHT, then immediately turn left at the first light onto Stony Hill Road, then another left into the office complex!!

I-95 North to Newtwn-Yardley exit, top of the ramp, turn LEFT, then over I-95, and left onto Stony Hill Road, then another left into the office complex!!

Sorry for the late notice! Just realized the error!

Cheers.

Scott
