Yes, your name - as in screenname... real names are not really applicable to internet forums..

Long Island guys,
I'm staying in Manhattan tonight, won't be able to meet you in the morning on Southern State. I'll see you guys at Mini of Manhattan at 9!

I believe the leader is the person who put together the run....

I have done MANY runs... and I'll tell you... when you get this many people together.. something that should take X amount of time takes Y

you should just take up the rear and enjoy the drive...

The best place to park will be along 58th St. (Behind the BMW Building). I will plan on meeting you there.

Who wants Donuts?

Frankly, 2.5 hours to Fairfield is WAY overkill, so if anybody wants to punch up a scenic route and lead, we could get a little stick time in before chowing down on Pizza.

OK, whatever, 57th, 58th... I will see you in Fairfield... please try and be in Fairfield at around 11am as I previously stated because of the use of the secondary parking area - and we could arrange the MINIs nicely for photoshooting!! Also, if we're late, it will pose a problem for seating - that's how in demand this pizza place is..

See you all tomorrow morning!! WOOHOO!!

Good weather for today's event other than a little cold...

Should be a great day for MINIs, pizza, and getting together!

Great to meet you guys today. Nice run and aside from some risky maneuvers by couple of the guys everything went smooth. My friends with the Lambo and the Porsches had a blast also.
I'm really confused between all the Mini clubs and websites and can't seam to find any thread with pics and discussion from today. If somebody can post a link I'd appreciate it.

See you guys next time!

My photos are online:

I had a blast as well, Hovik. Thanks for leading the pack from MINI of Manhattan. I did what I could in getting us in earlier - the place is pretty much a landmark when it comes to pizza, so I'm glad we were able to stay where originally planned.

Rob - everyone had a great time - you missed an awesome turnout of, what did we have, Hovik, 30 people, and 20+ MINIs? ..and Rob, need I say how good the pizza really is? You know how good it is.. if it wasn't, you wouldn't head up this way as often as you do for the pizza, right?

I mentioned to others today I hope that we have some sort of meet but in the opposite direction, where a bunch of us would come into the NY area and meet up there. We could always plan a Dinosaur BBQ meet and plan it with the restaurant ahead of time - the only trouble is parking, but I'm sure we could arrange something..

Thanks everyone for coming. See you all again really soon. Thanks Hovik for coming through with the nice surprise of the exotics.. Everyone was so cool!!

P, was a great pleasure to have you there, as always.. somehow it doesn't seem to be the same without you there, so glad you could make it..

Was cool when, as we were leaving, another GP "just happened" to show up.. I thought that was really neat..

Great meeting you, too, MINIATIC!! Your dog is the best!! Like I mentioned, it would be great to have the run in reverse... so we all meet up in NYC... not a far drive for you then, right MINIATIC?
