Hello N.E.W. MINIs,

Have we got a great drive for you and your MINI! On Saturday June 1, at 10:00am we set off from MINI of the Fox Valley in Appleton, for a drive that is one of our club's favorites. Known lovingly as just the Kettle Moraine Drive. This fun scenic drive will take you along the east side of Lake Winnebago on the way to Plymouth. While Plymouth we will head for a remote lunch stop near Crystal Lake. Lakehouse Bar & Grill is a club drive destination must stop with great food and drink for anyone's appetite.

After a nice lunch we will make our way through the heart of the Northern Kettle Moraine unit. On this portion of the drive you will be reminded of why you bought your MINI in the first place! Because it's fun! With both you and your MINI singing up and down through it's gears there will be guaranteed smiles for all. Your MINI will thank you for getting it off boring straight city roads by letting it attack twisty corners instead. You on the other hand will be thanking your MINI for what it has always been....unique!

With both driver and MINI coming off of cloud 9 from the fun twisty roads. We will be making our last stop for Ice Cream! Here we have a chance to use restrooms and enjoy a nice treat. Once everyone has had a chance to savor the last bit of ice cream running down their fingers. We will start to make our way back up to Appleton along west side of Lake Winnebago via Lake Shore Drive(45). This route will make it easy for our friends that live in Oshkosh, Neenah, and Menasha areas to get home. As well as our friends from Green Bay and Appleton areas.

Hello N.E.W. MINI Club,

I was disappointed that I had to work on Saturday and couldn't go on the drive, but at least on my drive home, I saw another Bayswater.

 

Sorry to hear you couldn't make it this past Saturday. We had 16 MINIs! It's was one of bigger turn outs . Both the roads and weather were great. But I totally understand, work sadly has to come first. That way we have money to buy and put performance parts on our MINIs . The summer is still young, and we will have a lot more fun drives to come.

The club will be driving down to Sussex on the June 16(Father's Day) for a all British car show. Your Bayswater will be a nice edition. Details should be out already for the event. It will be an easy drive down and you'll get to park your MINI and show it off.

Well, work comes for buying parts for most people. For me, its to buy more MINIs...

And I again work on that weekend. The next time I have off that something is planned should be in July, for the 55 drive, unless the date changes. But I am planning on MINIs on the Mack, and my new one should be here by then.

 

So whats the next one Travis- And don't leave out the details....

 

Nothing real fancy, I just ordered it with 3 options. S Clubman with xenon headlights, rear fog lights, and the Bond Street package. It just got done with assembly today and is going to the paint shop.

I'll have to learn how to drive again, though. I have very little experience driving stick.

Clubman S is one of my favorite style of MINI. My brother in late April bought a British racing green Clubman. I can't wait to help him put performance mods on it. I am hoping that we will be able to do an intake on his this summer. Next summer exhaust, or at least that is what I hope we can do.
