Stereo Noise

Is there some sort of noise generator between the factory head unit and the factory HK amplifier in a 2013 Countryman All4 w/navigation? As soon as the car powers up, meaning open a door, there is a type of white noise coming thru the speakers. With the stereo playing music it still in the background. With the mute button activated it still continues to exist. With the engine running it still exists. It doesn't change volume at any time. Its just this annoying background noise.

The Setup:
I have pulled my audio signals from just in front of the amplifier plug.
JL Audio FiX 86
Alpine PDX-V9
Infinity Kappa Perfect 500 3-way
Infinity Kappa 64cfx
JL Audio 10TW3-D4

Any help is welcomed!

I tested that theory by running the amp and processor grounds directly back to the battery. Absolutely no change. Also, there isn't any sign of alternator whine thru the system either.

There are a bunch of internet posts on JL Audio FiX 86 white noise. Last one I saw mentioned an adjustment was done to get rid of it but without any details.

Interesting! I'll have to do some digging in that direction for sure then. I'll post what I find.

Thank You

Master Moocher has hit one out of the park.

The Fix 86 was the culprit in this scenario. After installing a DRC-205 into the Fix 86 and sorting out the settings. All is beautiful in the world again.

Now the upgrade focus has moved on to the performance end of the spectrum.
