Snap-in adapter/ bluetooth question?

Hello all,

I have a 2012 CMS with factory bluetooth and the HK system, no navigation, no MINI Connect. I currently installed a front armrest with the snap-in adapter capability and it had the harness coming out of it. Am i able to retrofit it? Shouldn't it just be plug and play? I used to have 2008 MCS Hardtop with factory bluetooth and that came standard with the snap-in adapter (I think). I find it odd that the Countryman doesn't. Are the wires that connect to them hidden somewhere or do I need a new wire harness to make it work? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm not sure about those w/o connected as I have it as well as Nav.
I actually removed my front armrest for a while and had to unplug the end you're speaking of. When I removed the armrest there was an opening under it in the rail were it plugged into its other end. Not sure if all countryman are wired that way and only who elect to purchase this option is then activated.
Do you have the RCA/USB plug in's in the rail. If you do then I would think most of what's needed is with in the rail... Just a matter of getting it activated.
I have some pictures while it was apart. I'll see if I can post a few.... May help in what to look for......

I don't have the usb/RCA obtion but I do have the usb/aux obtion. I believe I know the area you are speaking of as I had to replace the metal frame underneath the arm rest with a new one since my car didn't come with an option. I tried to look for the wires but didn't find any. Yet again I didn't remove the whole rail system and plastic to see the wires. Please do post some pictures if you can. Thank you.
