Does anyone know does the connect can support Asian Language on Connect? Seems the MP3ID tag got square.

Saw another thread in Canada has some of those selection, any luck for anyone in the state? So far i only see English, Spanish, Italian on mine....

If u have mini connect then it shows!

 

finally got the right cable for the mini connect and it does work with the asian character + album art, very cool indeed.

 

It is not supported for music CD title. It still display gibberish for asian characters.

 

it will only show asian characters with apple product by mini conncected. other such as cd, usb, or bluetooth will not shown

 

2013 CMS with Connected. I used the Y-cable to connect my Iphone 4S. None of the hundreds of songs with Asian characters I have on my phone displayed on the screen. As stated above, there were just gibberish. Cover art shows, though.

The Mercedes system can display Asian characters, no problem. C'mon BMW/MINI!!!

 

once u plug in ur apple product w the y cable. u will need to go into mini connected and select plug in. you mini will show the apple screen on the display. this is the only way to show asianchatacters
