Cabrio antenna / lost nut! Help!!
Installed an XM-direct system in my cabrio this weekend. Put the XM antenna inside the OEM radio antenna, as per PJSCHAFFER excellent write-up here (http://schaffer-family.smugmug.com/g...99755#61159907)
Anyway, after taking apart the radio antenna and putting it back together, I was trying to re-attach the antenna, from the inside of the car. I started to thread the nut back back on to the bottom of the antenna post and I dropped the nut into the bulkhead!!
(see the space between the green paint and the unpainted surface in picture below - this picture from PJSCHAFFER is looking UP to the bottom of the antenna, with the light panel removed...
Anyone have a clue what kind of nut would fit on the antenna post. Size and thread number??
