'06 MCS - Universal Harness & Steering Wheel Controls

I have the multi-function steering wheel and am looking to install a new, after-market radio. Will the universal harness kit sold allow the MFSW to still function for changing the stations/tracks and volume, etc.? Thanks!

Jeff,
I installed an Alpine head unit with a module made by PAC. I had to cut one wire that is under the steering column and tie the PAC unit into that wire, then program it for my application. The steering wheel buttons control the Alpine now without much issue.

PAC also makes modules for use with other manufacturer's head units. Try a google sarch for "PAC Steering Wheel Interface"

There was a post here quite a while back I think by "TampaMCS" showing exactly which wire to tie into. YOu may be able to find the post using search.

Feel free to PM me if you need more info.

Donald
