Simple question. Can you get CDs for the Navigation system that work from someone other than NavTech. I just moved a few miles south of Nashville and the CD I got from NavTech about 6 months ago is pretty useless around here - there is essentially no coverage ouside of the city limits of Nashville. I called them and they don't know when the updated CD for the MINI will be out. I don't want to put in a new system.

Did you move "regions" or in a new area with new construction?

The problem is that coverage outside of many metropolitan area's is spotty at best.

The southeast region CD is a piece of crap. Most of Martin County FL is not covered, so the highly populated towns of Stuart, Ft Pierce and St Lucy just have the biggest of the big roads on them, a complete waste.

I could understand places like Yeehaw Junction, Pahokee, and most of Brevard County not being on the CD, but Stewart? :???: :???:

Yes, I moved to a new region and installed the CD for that region. I concur with the statement that the coverage is "spotty at best." The coverage out of major metro areas is crap - I truly hope MINI does better with the DVD based system. I live in an area that is just a few miles south of Nashville in a metro area that has about 1 million folks . . . and roads that have been here for years and years are not on the CD.

So, since there appears to be no option for a CD from a different company, does anyone out there use a nav system with a PDA? If so, anyone in the Nashville area that can recommend one?
