Navigation & Audio GPS Mount - Speedo?
GPS Mount - Speedo?
I'm looking at buying this mount for my Dell Axim X51v (pocket PC).
OnCourse Powered Mount
But I'm considering also buying this suction cup mount because I like how you can tell when it's going to loose suction.
Woods Power-Grip
Then retrofitting them together to suction to the face of the speedo.
Is the speedo face durable enough to handle that?

I have tried the suction mount on the speedo. The clear plastic flexed too much and the unit jumped around. I wasw afraid it would eventually cause some damage.
I would either use a suction mount on the windshield (what I do now) or get the Panavise mount that will place the GPS just to the right of the stereo angled toward the driver.
You'll have full use of the speedo, your gps will be securely attached, and you won't risk breaking something or missing an important warning light on the speedo face.
Here is my sirius radio installed using a panavise mount. You can buy one here: http://www.panaviseonline.com/product.php?id=1427
