What is the best direction to point a single 10" subwoofer in the boot? Would it be striaght up towards the roof, towards the side of the car, at 45 degree angle towards where the side window meets the headliner, or any other suggestions?? Also, is it best to put the sub on the driver or passenger side?

 

When I was in high school (many years ago ) some of my buddies and I experimented with subwoofers and always seemed to get the most bass pointing it toward the back of the car. These were mostly cars with trunks, so it might be a little different than a hatchback.
