CD to DVD

Is it possible to upgrade from CD to DVD nav unit in the early (late 02 build) MINI?

Yes it is possible. You just need to get a newer (DVD) Nav computer. These are not cheap and run between $800-1100.

800-1100$ DVD Nav

Where are you seeing them for that much? I can't seem to find them for under 1400. I may need a new one, as my CD won't stay in the player.

Ebay is the only place I have ever found them for sale besides contacting a MINI dealer. Also if you find a BMW that has been totalled in a junk yard they use the same Navi computer.
